Ms. Noknoy Phommachanh

I’m Ms. Noknoy PHOMMACHAN has been working as the Program Assistant /Lawyer for ADWLE Legal Aid Clinics at Women’s Assistance and Counselling Office (WACO) since 2019. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree of Criminal Law from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, National University of Laos, Vientiane Capital. Before work at ADWLE, I was a member of the Student Activities for Women’s Development and Legal Education group at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, National University of Laos, which was affiliated with the Association. In 2018, I volunteered for 10 months. She then went on to work for the Lao-ASEAN Leasing Company for three months and has returned to work for women’s development and legal education until now.

Tasks and responsibilities:

–           Assist legal counsel, collect information on clients seeking advice and assistance, compile summary cases for export to lawyers, assist in drafting legal documents, respond to legal information to clients.

–           Promote gender equality, promote gender equality, gender-based violence and laws related to women.

Interesting about working at ADWLE: I want to be a part of social development, such as empowering women in the community, promoting gender equality, helping women and children access justice. I work at ADWLE with a passion for development work, she wants to be a part of promoting gender equality, helping women and children access justice.

The things that I like to do outside work, My achievements and ambitions Including Enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends; aspiration to be a lawyer to help people with legal problems and help women and children access justice.
