I’m Khamlar Khamphavong has been working as the Project Assistant/Lawyer for ADWLE Legal Aid Clinics at Women’s Assistance and Counselling Office (WACO) since 2021. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree of Law from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, National University of Laos, Vientiane Capital.
Tasks and responsibilities: Provide legal advice, collect information from people seeking advice and assistance, make a summary of the case for export from a lawyer, draft legal documents, respond to legal information to clients, and help to plan activities, budget, and help to report project activities.
My Interested in working at the ADWLE: Working as a team in a brotherly and friendly manner and wanting to be a part of working for society, such as helping women and children access justice, empowering women in the community, and promoting gender equality.
Thing that I like working at ADWLE: Because the association works to promote women’s and children’s access to justice (legal work), which is a profession they have graduated from, and they have a passion for development work, and want to be a part of promoting gender equality and gender equality. About myself: I’m a person who likes to talk because it stimulates new ideas and gives himself the opportunity to learn new things and highly responsible and likes to help colleagues.
