Since 2024, the Association for Development of Women and Legal Education (ADWLE), on behalf of the Land Information Working Group (LIWG), has established the Focal Group for the Promotion of Women’s Land Rights (FGPWLR). This group brings together representatives from government agencies, international organizations, and civil society to strengthen collaboration and advocacy around women’s land rights in Laos.

On May 6, 2025, ADWLE convened a coordination meeting with FGPWLR members to discuss the two-year action plan (2025–2026), define the group’s overall goals, and prepare a joint presentation for the upcoming Land Sub-Sector Working Group (LSSWG) meeting. The session was held at the Laotel Hotel and was supported by GIZ, HELVETAS Laos, and LIWG.

Together, we aim to amplify women’s voices in land governance and ensure inclusive and equitable access to land for all.
