counselling and legal representation to disadvantaged

clients, especially women and children, across

Vientiane Capital and other parts of Laos, on:

– Gender-based violence (GBV)

– Family Law issues

– Civil and Labor disputes

SHORT HISTORY ABOUT US
1. Background

ADWLE was founded in 2008 by fifteen CEDAW Resource Pool members who worked with civil society organizations, INGOs and government. In 2012, ADWLE gained registration as a NonProfit Association in Laos. 

2. Our Vision

A society where there is Gender equality, including equal opportunities, contributions to decisionmaking and access to the legal system.

3. Our Mission

To promote gender equality and access to justice through awareness raising, legal dissemination, training, gender mainstreaming, advocacy and legal services.
