On the morning of November 12, 2024, in Paksan District, Bolikhamxay Province, Consultation
Meeting on Work Plan for Awareness Raising for 12 Villages of Bolikhan District and 12 Villages
of Pakkading District was held and chaired by Mr. Phoumiphon Suvannalath, Deputy Director of
PONRE, with the participation of representatives from line departments at provincial and district
levels, together with village authorities of 12 target villages in Bolikhan District and 12 target
villages in Pakkading District, and ADWLE staff.

The results of the meeting are as follows:

• Completed a report on the implementation of past activities, advantages, and challenges
• Learned the situation of each village and scheduled dissemination and awareness-raising
  plan for target villages in Bolikhan District and Pakkading District from November 2024
  to January 2025 (community-based awareness-raising plan is attached)
• 5 target villages of Bolikhan District and 6 target villages of Pakkading District were able
  to finalize disseminating topics such as gender equality, women's participation in land and
  natural resources, customary land use rights, contract farming, terms and elements of
  contracts, village-level land dispute mediation, and legal aid, which are important cases that
  the people want to be aware of because, in the past, many people have not been able to
  access this information. For other villages, it will be discussed with the village organizing
  committee and then informed later
